Lineo Mphachane - ZA053

Lineo is a missionary from Lesotho preparing to serve in Madagascar as part of an inbound team in Mahajanga.
 
She is passionate about seeing the gospel reach those who have never heard it, particularly in remote and unreached communities.
Lineo has a background in Public Administration and Development Studies and has served as a teacher with Lesotho Flying Pastors, teaching the children of missionaries. She is also pursuing further studies in education and continues to prepare for long-term cross-cultural ministry. Her experience and heart for people equip her to combine teaching, prayer, and relationship-building to bring hope and encouragement to communities.
Lineo longs to walk alongside people, serve children and women, and share the good news in practical, life-giving ways where Christ is not yet known.

Lucky and Maureen are currently involved in reaching the Sakalava and Antakarana people of Madagascar in Nosy Be and Nosy Mitsio. Their ministry focus is learning the language and building relationships. They are using English as a means both for building relationships, preaching the gospel and discipleship. They are also involved in the ministry activities that the team is already involved in.

As they walk out their calling, they are serving on a business team on the Islands. Their faithfulness and obedience to God's leading have brought them to this pivotal moment, ready to share the message of hope and love in the Indian Ocean islands.

They are passionate about evangelism, discipleship, and serving in rural and unreached communities, bringing hope and the gospel to people who have limited access to Christ.
Max has extensive experience in rural evangelistic outreach, disciple-making, youth ministry, and community engagement through programs like Farming Quest. He has been mentored in ministry, prayer, and Bible study, and is committed to equipping others while sharing the gospel in practical ways.
Nuku brings a heart for evangelism and discipleship, especially among people who feel overlooked or forgotten. Her life experience has shaped a deep empathy and perseverance in prayer, enabling her to encourage and walk alongside others in their spiritual journey.
Together, Max and Nuku are committed to serving communities where Christ is least known, using their skills, experiences, and passion to make a lasting impact.

Melissa is a missionary from South Africa preparing to serve in medical ministry as a physiotherapist. She has a heart for holistic care and is passionate about supporting communities through physical rehabilitation, prayer for the sick, and sharing the hope of the gospel.
Alongside her medical calling, Melissa enjoys serving in children’s ministry, teaching Sunday school, leading Bible studies for women, and teaching English. Her journey has included cross-cultural ministry exposure across Africa, Europe, and Asia, shaping a deep love for people and a desire to walk closely with communities through long-term, relational ministry.
Melissa is currently preparing for a placement in the Eastern Region.

She is passionate about cross-cultural ministry and bringing hope and encouragement to communities with few Christian workers.
Mercy has experience in evangelism, Bible teaching, prayer ministry, and hospitality. She has lived, worked, and studied abroad, including time in England and as an exchange student in Sweden, gaining valuable cross-cultural experience. At her local church, she engages in Muslim outreach and trains others in effective ministry strategies.
Mercy desires to serve in areas with a high need for gospel workers, especially among Muslim communities in Africa, and has joined AIM to participate in mission work where her gifts can make the greatest impact.

Musa & Tshepiso Modise - ZA052

Musa and Tshepiso Modise are missionaries from South Africa serving in Johannesburg.
 
Musa is involved in mission mobilisation, encouraging the church and students to engage in outreach and to participate in God’s mission.
Musa works closely with the AIM Southern Region office, supporting their mobilisation efforts and assisting with regional activities. His ministry includes local community outreach, leading Bible studies with homeless individuals, and organising Missions Week conferences that invite others to consider their role in sharing the gospel. Tshepiso works as a teacher.
Together, Musa and Tshepiso have a heart to see the gospel shared with those who have little access to it and to see believers equipped and mobilised for ministry.

Nelio & Isa Caixão - ZA055

Nelio and Isa Caixão are missionaries from Mozambique serving in Marrupa.
 
They are passionate about evangelism, discipleship, and church planting among the Yao, Meetto, and Shirima peoples, working to see Christ known and worshipped among all people groups in Mozambique.
 
Since 2022, they have served with AIM, first in Nampula reaching the Kimwani people, and now in Marrupa, where they continue to establish healthy churches and equip local believers. Nelio brings extensive experience in cross-cultural ministry and mobilizing communities, while Isa supports through teaching, evangelism, and discipleship.
 
They are married and have three children: Crescencia Graziella, Hudson Doutel, and Evelyn Agnes. Together, Nelio and Isa are committed to living out the gospel, building communities of faith, and sharing Christ’s love in practical and spiritual ways.

O S, hailing from Botswana, serves with Africa Inland Mission (AIM) as part of a TIMO team on the Islands. The ministry focuses on sharing the gospel and establishing an indigenous Christ-centered church among the Islanders. O S brings valuable experience from his time with Capro Missions, where he participated in programs such as the Kairos Course, DIMEP, and the Discipleship and Mission Exposure Program. These experiences shaped his calling and highlighted the urgency of reaching the unreached. With a deep sense of purpose and dedication.

Currently completing his studies, Peter is actively preparing to joining an inbound Team in Madagascar, solidifying his dedication to missions.

Peter joined AIM in 2020 from Glo Bible Seminary in Ndola, Zambia. A previous Capro Missionary for two years, he feels compelled by Christ to serve as a mobilizer in Zambia among all Zambian churches and specific projects in Malawi. Peter has a heart to see Zambians become a mission force in missions and for Zambian workers to be able to raise financial support. He works in partnership with key seminaries with a vision to train their students in missions and network across Zambia to equip, train and teach.

He is married to Ireen and they have two boys, Zebron and Victory.

Richard's initial short-term mission experience from Zambia to Namibia left a lasting impact, igniting a calling to return and continue the work he started. Rosina was serving as Unit Leader for AIM Southern region in Madagascar she is now currently involved in translation work. It is almost unthinkable that Rosina did not grow up as a Christian believer. She serves as a mentor for young missionaries coming to Madagascar, mobilize and equip the local church and plays a key role in facilitating partnerships in Madagascar to mobilize for missions.

T first became interested in missions when he joined a small team of young men from Botswana in 2018. Doing life among an unreached group compelled him to probe further, and after another short-term outreach in Mozambique, he decided to join AIM to serve full term. Now, T & K, trained agriculturalists from Botswana, serve as part of a TIMO team on the Islands. Their ministry focuses on sharing the gospel and helping to establish an indigenous Christ-centered church among the Islanders. With a passion for discipleship, they are committed to building meaningful relationships and using their agricultural skills as a platform for ministry. Their desire is to see lives transformed by the gospel and communities mobilized to reach the unreached with the message of Christ.

Tanki and Makhalalelo Khoeli ZA048

Tanki and Makhalalelo, originally from Lesotho, joined Africa Inland Mission (AIM) in 2024. They serve among the shepherds in Lesotho.

Tanki leads in evangelism and discipleship, helping to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of the shepherds. He frequently visits local churches near their ministry location to raise awareness about the needs of the shepherds and to promote involvement in missions. Makhalalelo runs a weekly children’s Bible study in their village and assists the shepherds’ team with administrative support, helping to strengthen the team’s impact.

They are blessed with two children, Sthembiso and Holy, who join them in this ministry journey.

Tshepang and Queen hail from Botswana and South Africa. They have two children, Lethabo and Ntungamili. Tshepang is the Executive Director of the Southern Regional receiving office operating from Nairobi in Kenya. With a wealth of experience in missions, Tshepang leads the work to the Unreached People Groups in Southern Africa and serving churches across Southern Africa. He offers vison, strategy and oversight to teams working in the region. Queen is playing an active role in AIM program development and assists at the Southern Region Guest House.
